Cloud is marketed as the answer to enabling a business to quickly scale, allow developers to be more agile, and some would argue - provide more security capabilities for compliance challenges like PCI and others. Cloud offers all those things and more, however, it is not the Magic Pill every cloud provider makes it out to be. This presentation will discuss the benefits and challenges of cloud and how companies in various industry verticals are leveraging all the cloud has to offer while dealing with all these challenges.
About the Speaker: Mike A. Williams is an experienced senior information technology executive who has over thirty years of technology management and executive experience. Williams has been employed by Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, insurance, outsourcing, HCM, and logistics industries.
Williams has used his diverse technology, process, and business skills to transform and optimize operations within internal technology teams and IT Outsourcing client organizations. He has also held P&L responsibilities and lead strategy and product develop initiatives that provided value-added services to clients and increased revenue and earnings within their respective lines of business.
Williams is a supporter and participate in local and national nonprofit organizations. Williams invests his time and resources in enabling people and organizations with great ideas to do amazing things to serve their communities.
