The Atlanta e-Commerce Forum
The AECF’s mission is to provide a forum for Fortune 1000 companies and other organizations to discuss best practices for conducting business electronically. Through our monthly activities, members and guests can network, hear from experts and business leaders on a variety of e-business and e-commerce topics, share experiences and best-practices with processes and technologies, and discuss ways to increase e-business efficiencies. Our goal is to be the authoritative resource for current information and networking opportunities for e-business and e-commerce business practices and technologies.
Since 1989, AECF has educated the Southeast’s business community on e-business and e-commerce topics, including electronic data interchange (EDI), electronic storefronts, electronic payments, web applications, web-based supply chain integration, and other web technologies. Each month, information technology, sales, marketing and other professionals gather to network with each other, enjoy a meal, and listen to a presentation covering new technologies, case studies or solutions. Attendee titles range from president, director, manager, project leader, systems analyst, developer, account manager, sales representative and EDI manager. But, all share the same common goals:
- To enhance businesses through education and a better understanding of e-business, e-commerce and business strategies
- To cultivate relationships among the business community to promote the use of e-business
- To share experiences and exchange ideas that may aid member companies in the implementation and growth of e-business programs
- To inform and educate the business community regarding e-business issues
